Mary J. Thompson   

Mary has a adventurous spirit. She is well traveled in the United States as well as Europe, Mexico and Caribbean.  Mary has freelanced her art over the years. Several years ago, Mary’s wildlife images were used on tote bags and apparel for the Rainforest Alliance, Rivers Of America and Conservation International as a source of raising funds for those.     

Mary has ventured through many subjects and mediums of Art. Her subjects include woman, children, wildlife, landscapes and flora.  These figures are warm and endearing to view. Each expressing Harmony. Born in Washington D.C. , Mary has been successful for over 30 years through her Art. She has often said, “I love my God given gift.” Mary takes her art very serious and has continued to evolve over the years.

 Mary Volunteered  many hours painting a mural at the Children’s Center at the Brevard County Zoo in Florida. Mary feels all children should be introduced to Art. Mary Thompson has participated in many art events in Washington D.C., Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida, Texas, Georgia, New York, New Jersey and Delaware. Her Paintings and Prints have also been found in various corporate collections.

Mary feels that she has made many friends through her clients. In over the past 12 years plus, Mary has been creating images for Jigsaw Puzzles. Recent puzzles for White Mountain Puzzles and Bits and Pieces. Other companies Suns Out, Ravensburger.   Creating Jigsaw puzzles has been a new adventure doing images Digitally .  

As a artist exploring different mediums helps to grow and Mary enjoys learning.  It has been a positive experience working with Creative Directors who suggest images for Mary to develop.  Mary expressed,   “It is heartwarming , knowing people enjoy working on her images doing Jigsaw puzzles.”
